Pursuant to section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995 the City of Mandurah is required to periodically review all of its local laws. This is to determine whether or not they should be amended, repealed or remain unchanged.

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with this section, the City of Mandurah proposes to commence a review of the following local law:

  • Local Government Property and Public Places Local Law 2016

A copy of this local law may be inspected at the City’s Administration Centre, 3 Peel Street, Mandurah, between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.  Copies will also be available for viewing at any City of Mandurah library during normal operating hours and available from the City of Mandurah website www.mandurah.wa.gov.au.

Submissions about the local law may be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Mandurah, PO Box 210, Mandurah WA 6210 or emailed to council@mandurah.wa.gov.au. 

Your feedback will be reviewed and presented to Council. If amendments are recommended, a draft will be advertised for public comment.

The closing date for all submissions is Friday, 13 December 2024.
